OUR VISION IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION FOR POOR COMMUNITIES IN PAKISTAN; BREAKING THE CYCLE OF POVERTY.
OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO THOSE WHO HAVE NO HOPE TO GET INTO SCHOOLS. GIVING CHILDREN AN ENCOURAGING ENVIRONMENT AND HELP THEM TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
New Hope Public School
Our little school on the edge of the Thar Desert, in south-east Pakistan.
Our Rhea Ministries Child Sponsorship Programme gives the opportunity to invest in the futures of the children attending New Hope Public School, our little school on the edge of the Thar Desert, in south-east Pakistan.
The Thar Desert is a harsh environment of regular droughts, poverty, locusts, and a lack of water. New Hope Public School provides education, and brings that, “new Hope” to the local Hindu children.
The Hindu community is one of the most marginalised and persecuted minorities in Pakistan, and Rhea Ministries is committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out to the children and community in this remote location.
The child sponsorship programme is a fantastic initiative as it not only funds education, but critically, in such a poverty-ridden location, will provide a daily meal for the children. This provision of nutritious school dinners overcomes the huge barrier of malnutrition and frees up the children from working the fields and looking after livestock.
IN THE UK:
If you are interested in sponsoring a child then you can do so by setting up a standing order of £35 a month to Rhea Ministries with the reference ‘School’. IN THE USA:
If you are interested in sponsoring a child then you can do so by setting up a standing order of $45 a month to Rhea Ministries with the reference ‘Scholarship’. In addition to setting up the standing order please contact James by his USA email address: j.moss@rheaministries.org this will enable him to follow up with you about your sponsorship.
We will seek to write to you three times a year with updates about the child you are sponsoring and how the school and ministry are progressing.
Besides the child sponsorship programme we would also ask if you would consider becoming a ‘Prayer Partner’ to hold this community and project in prayer. If you are wanting to become a prayer partner please send us an email stating so and we will add you to our mailing list.
